Or maybe I'm missing something...but it does show no real trend for gas prices decreasing before presidential elections. This year appears to be an exception, though. I did think it was interesting to see the steep rise and variability after the war started in 2003 which you discussed in a prior post. Can't wait to see what the 2008 and 2009 trendlines look like.
